09.00am We’ll pick you up at your accommodation in the Nelson Lakes or Nelson.
Our local knowledge and passion to show you what we are passionate about means that you are in for a real treat! The Great Taste is about scenery~ rolling hills bordering the Tasman Bay framed by the mountains of the Kahurangi National Park, the artisans and gourmet food.
Spend the day tasting the best that the Nelson /Tasman region has to offer. We’ll visit several of Nelson/Tasman’s boutique wineries or craft breweries and artisans*. Along the way stop for a kiwi style picnic of localy produced goodies on a quiet beach or private garden. A short walk brings you to the Mapua Ferry jetty. On arrival in Mapua you will have some time to stroll around the shops before going on to a winery and the oldest Pub in NZ to try their artisan beer.

*Nelson is known for chocolate, cheese, olives, wine, beer, spirits, relishes, jams, glassblowing, pottery, arts & crafts to name a few. Meet the artisans responsible for producing some of the finest crafts and foods in the Top of the South Island. This tour can be tailored to suit tastebuds and preferences.
Tour starts 09.30am - approx 18.00.
Rate: min of $800.00 per vehicle up to 8 persons + approx $25.00 pp for personal expenditure.
